Valentine Candy Pockets
I love paper so when I made these Valentine Candy Pockets, they made me very happy. I'll be the first to admit that I do alot of my crafting on my Cricut Machine because it allows me to do so much as a creative. The fact that I can make 3D models, cards, tags, t-shirts etc. in a matter of minutes makes it my favourite crafting tool. As a matter of fact, I made these birthday t-shirts for my twins the morning of, they were not done days before.
At the same time, over the last few months I've been having a mindset shift. By mindset shift I mean I've had the desire to create projects without my Cricut. No I am not over my Cricut nor am I putting it to the side – my Cricut is my baby! However, there are other sides of crafting that I want to explore. I've noticed that making projects from scratch with other crafting tools has given me another type of fulfillment as a creative and I love exploring that side. It makes me feel more well-rounded as a crafter and it's also enhancing my creative skills.
These Valentine Candy Pockets are not a big deal but I had so much fun making them. They are definitely one of my favourite crafts made during this Valentine Day series. Why? Because it challenged me a bit more. It required me to do a bit more trial and error because I didn't have a machine to cut perfect measurements and I really appreciated the process and mistakes I made.
To make these Valentine Candy Pockets, you will need a few supplies so here is the list:
- 12 by 12 cardstock
- 2-Inch Circle Punch
- double-sided glue
- Scissors
- Scoring Board
Let me know.
Do you have a Cricut machine? And if so, do you still make any crafts using other craft tools?
